Establishment of a Planning & Coordination Unit

Within the framework of EPP- Component 1 (Policy Advice), a Planning & Coordination Unit (P&C Unit) has been established within the Ministry of Education through a ministerial decree (No. 319-27/08/2012). Its task will be to plan and coordinate the implementation of the Technical Education Strategy (2012-2017).

With the goal of harmonizing efforts in the sector, the Unit aims to enhance the coordination capacities of the Technical Education Sector with public and private entities as well as international development agencies. The services and expertise provided by the Planning and Coordination Unit will support decision makers in evidence based policy making and thus support the implementation of the strategic vision for Technical Education in Egypt.
